Summary
The Manhattan Project was a research and development project run by the United States to develop Nuclear Weapons. The scheme was run by Robert Oppenheimer, and throughout the course of the plan three nuclear bombs were developed. By 1945 the United States was in possession of the "Little Boy" "Fatman" and "Trinity" which were all tools for mass destruction. The Little Boy was dropped over Hiroshima, and the Fat Man on Nagisaki. These bombings signaled the end of the war.
