Summary
A new democratic form of government led by first chancellor Friedrich Ebert took control over Germany after World War One. The people felt that the constitution was the downfall of the government, on top of the public's disapproval for abiding the Treaty of Versailles. Eventually, hyper inflation begins to occur and a new currency called the Reichsmark is formed.
