Summary
The United States underwent a period of economic turmoil during the 1930's as a result of: overproduction, the stock market, tariffs, international debt, and a weak European economy. Times proved to be tough for everyone, and as a result of the Great Depression unemployment rates sky rocketed, banks were closed and additional tariffs were introduced.
